Rajasthan Royals came back strongly after a huge defeat in their first match as they registered back to back wins while defending totals and will now take on the KKR at home. The Knight Riders started with a good win against RCB but poor bowling and batting efforts in successive games let them down. They bounced back with a huge 71-run win against the Delhi Daredevils but the pace attack’s consistency remains a worry.

Key stats and numbers to be looked out ahead of RR’s second home game of the season:

3-1 – Rajasthan Royals won three out of the four games they played against Kolkata Knight Riders in Jaipur. Royals lead the head to head by 9-6 against KKR in the IPL which include two wins coming in the Super Over.


9 – Rajasthan Royals have won each of their last nine IPL games played at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur. Only Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings have won ten IPL games in a row at home. RR also won their previous 13 T20 games in Jaipur.


14 – Number of wickets for Piyush Chawla against Rajasthan Royals in the IPL. Only Amit Mishra (26) has taken more IPL wickets than Chawla against RR. Chawla’s 14 wickets came in 13 matches at an average of 25.21.
