Chennai Super Kings (CSK) will host Rajasthan Royals (RR) in their new adopted home at MCA International Stadium in Pune. The Men in Yellow are facing way too many problems ever since the Indian Premier League (IPL) has begun this year. Though they would love to get things back on track with their performances on the field even as their die-hard fans have travelled all the way from Chennai to Pune in a special train. However, the weather in Pune should not make their joy shortlived and the clouds should stay clear.

MS Dhoni is likely to give up wicket-keeping gloves to Sam Billings at least for this game given that he cannot afford to rest himself in the possible absence of Suresh Raina as well. Ajinkya Rahane, the skipper of Royals, would also feel that he is coming back to home as he also featured for Pune franchise in the last couple of seasons. Both the teams are coming off losses in their previous game and would be eager to get back on winning track.

Will it rain in Pune?

According to Accu Weather, the temperatures in Pune are currently hovering around 36 – 38 Degree Celsius and the weather is extremely hot in the city. It has been raining this week which is odd but things are expected to stay clear on the match day. It will be hazy throughout the duration of the game and the atmosphere will cool down drastically compared to the afternoon heat. The teams will feel a bit easy in the middle in the night and will be happy to know that there will not be humidity as well.

This is the first game this season in Pune and it is possible that the climate might change going forward. As of now, it is absolutely clear and the best time to play cricket in the city as there are no chances of rain whatsoever.

Overall Verdict: Super Kings and Royals will entertain the spectators for full 40 overs in the evening as the heavenly gods have no desires to interrupt the game.
