IPL 2018, Match 4: Sunrisers Hyderabad vs Rajasthan Royals – 10 best memes/gifs

The Match 4 of IPL 11 proved to be a one-sided affair as the Sunrisers Hyderabad stream-rolled over the Rajasthan Royals at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad to register a thumping win in their season opener.

While there was a clear difference in the quality of the two sides, particularly in the bowling department, the Rajasthan Royals didn’t help themselves by making some soft mistakes and one of the softest was made by their skipper Ajinkya Rahane who dropped a dolly off Shikhar Dhawan at the first slip position when the left-hander hadn’t even opened his account.

Dhawan made the Rajasthan Royals pay big time for that dropped catch as he smashed a brilliant half-century, playing shots all around the park and made the mockery of the total posted by the visitors on the board. The 32-year remained unbeaten on 77 and saw his team home along with Kane Williamson.

The Twitterati took a dig at Rahane for his blunder, while they also praised Dhawan in their own hilarious way for giving proper treatment to the Rajasthan Royals bowlers after he had his fair share of luck earlier in the evening.

Jaydev Unadkat was one of the laughing stocks again as usual because of his huge price tag which he failed to justify as he lacked sting in his bowling and was put away easily by the Sunrisers batters. He did get a wicket early but bowled too many boundary balls after that, which completely nullified his effect.

Some of the Twitterati were actually disappointed with the overall pace of this game. IPL 11 had had some cracking games in the last couple of days and something of a similar sort was expected again, but it wasn’t to be as the Sunrisers dominated right through the evening and the Twitterati made fun of it with memes and gifs.
