The result of Sunrisers Hyderabad vs Delhi Daredevils match confirmed the fate of both the teams in the tournament as SRH became the first to qualify for the playoffs with their 6th consecutive win while DD became the first to be knocked out of the race. Rishabh Pant batted out through the DD innings to score an unbeaten 128 to help the home team finish with 187/5. Pant’s 128* is the 5th highest individual score in the IPL and the highest for Delhi Daredevils surpassing Virender Sehwag’s 119 against DC in the 2011 edition.


128* – Rishabh Pant’s unbeaten 128 is the highest individual score by an Indian in the Twenty20 format. He surpassed Murali Vijay’s 127 from IPL 2010 while playing for CSK against RR.


176* – The unbeaten 176-run stand between Shikhar Dhawan and Kane Williamson is the highest partnership for any wicket for the Sunrisers Hyderabad. Dhawan shared a 139-run stand with David Warner for the opening wicket in the 2017 edition against KKR which was their previous best partnership.


188 – Sunrisers’ chase of 188 in this match is their highest ever surpassing the 186-run chase against CSK in 2014. This is also the joint highest chase for any team against Daredevils in the IPL. CSK also successfully chased a 188-run target in the 2008 edition.
