Anushka Sharma marked her presence at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru for the RCB’s home against Kings XI Punjab. She was the star attraction alongside Preity Zinta, who was cheering KXIP last night. Anushka was spotted celebrating Marcus Stoinis’ wicket in an animated way. Her pictures and celebrations from the game are going viral on social media.
However, it was Afghanistan’s Mujeeb Zadran who stunned the arguably the best batsman, Virat Kohli with a googly. The RCB skipper failed to read the ball and the bowler disturbed Kohli’s woodwork. The 17-year-old will cherish this wicket for many years. Virat was disappointed with the way he lost the wicket, so was Anushka Sharma in the stands.

How RCB opened their account on the points table?
While chasing the target of 156 against KXIP last night, RCB lost Brendon McCullum for a golden duck but the South Africa wicketkeeper-batsman Quinton de Kock played a brilliant knock before getting out to Ashwin. But it was AB de Villiers who played an impressive knock of 57(40) with 2 fours and 4 sixes.
When RCB needed 20 runs in the final 11 balls, AB de Villiers lost his wicket, but Mandeep Singh did the job with the help of Washington Sundar, who smacked two boundaries in the final over to take RCB to their first victory of the season. Royal Challengers Bangalore will now take on Rajasthan Royals on Sunday at Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru.
