IPL 2018: Mumbai Indians – Approaching Milestones

Mumbai Indians emerged as the most successful team in the first decade of the Indian Premier League with three titles in their cabinet. All the titles they won came under Rohit Sharma who became the most successful captain and a player in the ten seasons of the league. Mumbai Indians might have lost a couple of their core players but brought in T20 specialists and young Indian players. The franchise will be hoping to build a formidable team along with the likes of Bumrah and Pandya brothers under their captain with a golden arm.

All the approaching milestones of the MI players to be looked out ahead of the IPL 2018:

IPL career milestones:

46 – Number of wickets for Jasprit Bumrah in the 47 IPL matches. He needs three more wickets for completing 50 wickets in the league.

147 – Kieron Pollard needs to hit three more sixes for completing 150 sixes in the IPL.

1993 – JP Duminy needs seven more runs for completing 2000 runs in the IPL.

Twenty20 career milestones:

43 – Number of wickets for Akila Dananjaya in the Twenty20 format. He needs seven more wickets for completing 50 wickets in this format. Dananjaya featured in 47 games in the T20 cricket.

98 – Saurabh Tiwary hit 98 sixes and 199 fours in the Twenty20 format so far. He needs to hit two more sixes and one more four for completing 100 sixes and 200 fours in this format.

98 – Surya Kumar Yadav needs to feature in two more games for completing 100 T20 appearances. Hardik Pandya (96 T20s) needs four more appearances for completing 100 T20 matches as a player. His brother Krunal Pandya featured in 48 T20 matches and bagged 39 wickets so far.

199 – JP Duminy needs to hit one more six for completing 200 sixes in the Twenty20 format while Rohit Sharma needs ten more sixes for completing 300 T20 sixes.

919 – Ishan Kishan scored 919 runs in the 41 T20 matches. He also scored 97 fours in this format.

5928 – Runs JP Duminy aggregated in the Twenty20 format so far. He needs 72 more runs for becoming the 2nd South African to complete 6000 T20 runs.

Professional career milestones:

3733 – Runs Ishan Kishan scored in the 94 professional matches he played so far. He needs 267 more runs for completing 4000 professional career runs.

19681 – JP Duminy needs 319 more runs for completing 20000 runs across all formats.

5871 – Runs Evin Lewis scored in his professional career so far. He needs 129 more runs for completing 6000 runs across all formats.
