Two of the best teams in the tournament this year are all set to lock horns in the first qualifier at the iconic Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. The Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) will face off for the third time against Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and will be eager to pull one back on them after losing on both the occasions. There will be no home advantage for either of the teams which makes the contest even more interesting but the weather in the city for this all-important clash also needs to be proper for the cricket match to take place.

Kane Williamson must be a tad worried about his bowlers who have leaked a lot of runs in the recent matches. They have also lost 3 in a row now and have to gain the winning momentum back with this game. On the other hand, MS Dhoni and his Men had a near perfect game in Pune and would be riding high on confidence. The team of veterans know how to win big matches and the calmness of the Dhoni comes to the fore more often than not.

Will it rain in Mumbai?

According to the Accu Weather, there is no rain the forecast in Mumbai with the temperatures currently hovering around 34 Degree Celsius. It is partly sunny and will remain the same in the lead up to the playoffs encounter. The place in the final is up for grabs and the players must have got used to the extreme humidity in the city which is around 55 percent and will increase up to 75 percent during the course of the match. The temperature will come down to 30 Degrees to make things a little bit cooler but it will hardly make any difference.

The dew always plays a crucial role at the Wankhede Stadium and the team winning the toss will be looking to bowl first.

Overall Verdict: Mumbai crowd is expected to come out in large numbers for the game despite the fact that their own team and the defending champions have been knocked out of the tournament. There will no rain during the game and an early start of 7 PM will also be a welcome change for everyone.
