The Rajasthan Royals have done an excellent job to pull things back in their favor in the ongoing edition of the Indian Premier League. After having lost their first game by a crushing margin on 9 wickets against the Sunrisers Hyderabad, the Royals have managed to win their next two games. They are certainly high on confidence. However, they have received a slight jolt ahead of their next encounter. The team mentor, Shane Warne, has left the team camp.
Well, before the Rajasthan Royals fans start to get worried, here is the catch. Shane Warne has headed back to Melbourne, Australia, for a short vacation. Apparently, the homesickness got the better of Warne and he decided to fly back to Australia. Warne posted an update on the social media that broke the news about the same. In his post, he remarked that he is leaving only for 10 days.
This, in essence, means that the RR camp will play sans the services of their mentor in the coming days in the tournament. Warne also mentioned that he has already started missing the Rajasthan Royals camp. He posted a picture to go with his captioned post.
Here is the post shared by Shane Warne:
“Hello Melbourne. See you in 10 days India. Missing the @rajasthanroyals boys already #IPL #bleedblue,” Shane Warne wrote in his social media update.
The Rajasthan Royals have had a decent time in the season. They lost their first game against the Sunrisers Hyderabad by 9 wickets in an away game. They followed it up with a 10 runs win against the Delhi Daredevils in a rain-curtailed game at home. And recently, they thumped the Royal Challengers Bangalore in Bengaluru.
The likes of Sanju Samson and Ajinkya Rahane have been their top performers in the season thus far. They will next be hosting the Kolkata Knight Riders in Jaipur on April 18. Considering the fact that the Knight Riders will arrive in to the competition riding on the winning momentum as well, a cracker of a game should be on the cards for the fans.
