The Royal Challengers Bangalore is currently facing the Chennai Super Kings in Bangalore. After being put into bat first by MS Dhoni, the RCB was brilliance with the bat. After losing skipper Virat Kohli early in the innings, they got back on track courtesy heroics from AB de Villiers and Quinton de Kock. The Proteas duo partnered to put on 103 runs on the board for the first wicket.

RCB, however, lost their momentum later in the innings as they two were dismissed in consecutive overs. But, they still managed to get over 200 after some good show from Mandeep Singh and Washington Sundar towards the end. With the pitch being batting friendly, we’ve definitely got a good game on our hands. The highlight of the RCB innings was AB de Villiers who smoked the ball to all corners of the park.

ABD is my favourite says, Ranveer Singh

AB de Villiers got going right from the word go today. He took the attack to the CSK bowlers and made them quite unsettled. Also, he hit some big boundaries in the game with 8 sixes and 2 fours to his name. Furthermore, he hit one delivery out of the Chinnaswamy Stadium as he smashed a 111m six. He scored at a strike rate of 226 and made 68 runs off just 30 balls to provide RCB with the much-needed impetus.

ABD’s innings left everyone awestruck and Bollywood star Ranveer Singh was no exception. He took it to Twitter to share his admiration towards de Villiers after that innings. He said that it is a delight to watch AB de Villiers in full flow and further added that AB was his favourite.

‘Delight to watch in full flow !  undoubtedly one of my favourite players..,’ wrote Ranveer Singh on Twitter. It will be interesting to see if the RCB bowlers can defend this total against the mighty CSK batting line up.
