The PUMA three-run challenge has been doing rounds on social media for quite a fair bit. Different cricketers have been taking part in the challenge and posting the time they took to make 3 runs. Sunrisers Hyderabad’s Rashid Khan is the latest entrant in the bandwagon.
The mystery spinner hailing from Afghanistan took 10.50 seconds to complete the challenge. He further nominated his teammates, Sachin Baby and Bipul Sharma, to further take up the challenge.
Here’s what the 19-year-old posted on Instagram
10.50 sec my fastest #3RunsChallenge You win this one @shaki_b75 bhai. Throwing the challenge to my team mates @bipulsharma30 n @sachin_baby36 . Let’s see you unlock #NewLevels @PUMAIndia #PUMA #IPL2018
Shakib Al Hasan had earlier nominated Rashid Khan for the three runs challenge. While he did defeat Rashid in this forte, the difference was really narrow. Shakib had managed to complete his three runs in 10.17 seconds. The Bangladeshi all-rounder though conceded that his stiff back hadn’t helped his cause.
Here’s what he posted on Instagram
“10.17 sec is my fastest in #3RunsChallenge @evinlewis17 You were lucky to win as I was a bit stiff. @rashid.khan19 let’s see if your running has the same punch as your bowling #NewLevels@PUMAIndia #PUMA #IPL2018”
The spinning duo has been doing some amazing work for SRH this year. Both have been applying the brakes to the opposition batting lineup. While Rashid has taken 16 wickets this season, his counterpart Shakib is not far behind with a tally of 13 wickets to his name.
The Sunrisers Hyderabad are scheduled to play the first Qualifier against Chennai Super Kings. Both teams will play at the Wankhede stadium with the winner booking a berth in the finals. The loser will get another chance owing to their top standing in the points table as they will face the winner of the Eliminator in Qualifier 2.
Recently, Kohli also took part in the challenge
