IPL 2018: Sakshi Dhoni demands another six from husband MS Dhoni

On a record-breaking day in the 11th edition of the Indian Premier League, on Wednesday It was MS Dhoni who produced one of the best T20 innings in the history of the IPL. MS Dhoni hit 7 massive sixes en route his 34-ball 74 run innings. While Ambati Rayudu went one step further and smashed 8 sixes during his knock of 82 runs.

Earlier, it was Proteas batsman AB de Villiers who continued his form from the previous game and once again piled up runs, smacking the Chennai Super Kings bowlers at every corner of the ground. De Villiers showed some outrageous batting display and deposited 8 sixes over the boundary. He scored 68 runs facing just 30 balls.

It was Kohli who walked in to open the batting with Quinton de Kock. However, Kohli went out cheaply but Quinton de Kock hit his share of sixes as he sent down 4 deliveries over the boundary during his half-century. RCB posted a huge total in front of the CSK in the Southern derby.

CSK had early blows with Ambati Rayudu guarding his end but witnessing likes of Shane Watson, Suresh Raina, Sam Billings and Ravindra Jadeja fall cheaply. However, Ambati Rayudu got a partner in the form of his skipper MS Dhoni who started the onslaught by hitting a six of the second ball that he faced.

Sakshi Dhoni enjoys hubby’s batting

Along with Rayudu, the CSK skipper notched up a superb 101-run stand to keep CSK in the run chase. In the crowd was the wife of MS Dhoni, Sakshi Dhoni enjoying the every six and four which came of the willow of his husband. MS Dhoni did not disappoint the crowd and his wife as he smashed bowlers at will.

When Dhoni hit a six in the penultimate over of the match, Sakshi Dhoni was seen cheering his husband and it looked as she was demanding one more six from his husband. However, Dhoni couldn’t fulfil the wish of Sakshi in the same over but he sealed the match with a maximum. The winning six would’ve surely made Sakshi happy.
