The Kolkata Knight Riders have stormed in to the Qualifier 2 of the IPL 2018. They beat the Rajasthan Royals in the big Eliminator of the season. The team camp is in a happy mood and so is their owner, Shah Rukh Khan. The Bollywood actor could not make it to the venue to give a pep talk to his side before the marquee clash against the Royals. But the ‘Badshah of Bollywood’ did manage to send across his good wishes for the Men in Purple.
Shah Rukh Khan recorded a short video message for the Kolkata Knight Riders team before the match. Funnily enough, SRK recorded the video when he was taking a shower. He remarked that he had a shoot to catch up and hence, could not make it to the venue to wish the lads for the match. He, however, expressed his joy on watching his side do so well in the season.
Here is the video that Shah Rukh Khan shared for the KKR camp:
“Missed talking to the fabulous boys from KKR…was getting ready for shoot. So in the middle of my shower sending all my love. Wow #KKRHaiTayyar so so proud and happy,” Shah Rukh Khan captioned his video.

The win from the Kolkata Knight Riders side has to be lauded for the reason that they were under the pump for a major part of the game. The Rajasthan Royals believed they had the game in their control. It was only in the final few overs that the fortunes changed. Chasing a modest 169 in the game, the Rajasthan Royals looked cruising towards the target with Ajinkya Rahane scoring 46 and Sanju Samson notching up 50.
But KKR came back in the game with the wickets of the set batsmen. Soon, the KKR spinners played the strangle hold to expose the fragile middle order of the Royals camp. KKR eventually won by 25 runs. They will now face off against the Sunrisers Hyderabad in the Qualifier 2 of the season.
