RCB have often been guilty of splurging money after certain stars in the auction. But they finally seem to have got their strategy right. After the bowlers, they targeted players who can contribute in multiple ways and hence, they went after quite a few all-rounders.

The all-rounders’ cupboard seems to be pretty wealthy now. They have top-quality international stars mixed with some exciting local talent. The likes of Colin de Grandhomme and Moeen Ali were a part of RCB last year as well but this time they will be accompanied by Marcus Stoinis.

The Aussie all-rounder has been in fabulous form in the Big Bash League and at the international level as well. While the likes of Pawan Negi, Washington Sundar and Gurkeerat Singh Mann form a part of the all-rounders’ group, the inclusion of Shivam Dubey looks very promising. The Mumbai all-rounder has had an excellent domestic season which has grabbed a lot of eyeballs.
