The cricketer from Punjab is a legend of Indian cricket, and his hitting prowess is second to none. Yuvraj Singh can tear apart any bowling line-up with his power game, and has always been considered a big fish in the IPL auctions. The southpaw had led the Indian team to its maiden T20 title in 2007 and some of his knocks in the white ball cricket represent the epitome of excellence. Yuvraj Singh has never been a successful player in IPL, but his reputation in the International circuit is enough to scare most of the bowlers.

Last year Mumbai Indians lost a lot of close games due to the inexperience in the side, and that’s why Yuvraj Singh was a smart pick by the franchise in the IPL 2019 auction. The left-hander went unsold in the first round but found a buyer in the last stages of the auction for his base price of Rs 1 crore and straightaway the Rohit Sharma-led team used Yuvraj in the middle-order.

He seemed to be in good touch as he scored a half-century in the first tie against Delhi but faltered away in the remaining games. Yuvi played four games in which he scored only 98 runs which is unacceptable from a player of his class and he was subsequently dropped from the side.
