Kevon Cooper made his IPL debut for Rajasthan Royals way back in 2012 following a splendid Champions League 2011 and last featured in the league in 2014. The Caribbean seems to be the forgotten name in the richest league now but during his debut IPL season, he was well known for his all-round skills particularly bowling in the death overs. Due to injuries, his stint in the league was cut short and he went unsold for the past 4 IPL seasons with none of the franchises willing to buy him.

Bought at the base price of $50,000, the Trinidad and Tobago all-rounder went on to take 29 wickets in 20 matches combined in 2012 (10 wickets in 6 matches) and 2013 (19 wickets in 14 matches) IPL seasons. In his first IPL game, the right-hander hit a six of the first ball followed by a four (11 runs of 3 balls) and later on went on to take 4 wickets in the same match, thus winning the game for his side against Punjab. The bowling performances he exhibited for his franchise at such a cheap price turned handy for the Rajasthan Royals.
