The match 22 of the Indian Premier League (IPL) will see the Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) hosting the Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in Mohali. Despite having the same points to their name, the net run-rate differentiates the two teams by three places. While the SRH are at the second spot, the home side are sitting at the fifth place after playing five matches.
The SRH are unlikely to make any changes after only one loss. But they might ponder over bringing in the youngster Abhishek Sharma in place of Deepak Hooda who hasn’t performed well so far. On the flip side, the KXIP also will be thinking to rest Mohammed Shami who has been bowling his heart out. Ankit Rajpoot might replace him in that case.
The 22nd game of the IPL between KXIP and SRH will be hosted by Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur.
The match starts at 08:00 PM local time (02:30 PM GMT).
The game will be live on Star Sports in India. (Live streaming on Hotstar).
It will be too hot all day in Mohali before the things get cooler in the evening. The temperature changes drastically in the night and during the match, it will go down to around 24 Degrees Celsius according to AccuWeather. No rain is in the forecast.
