The Delhi Capitals now move onto the 2nd position in the points tally with their 5th win in eight matches including three in a row. Contributions from the middle-order helped Delhi Capitals finish on 155/7 despite slowing down from 96/3 in 11 overs. The SRH opening pair added 72 runs in 9.5 overs but were behind the required rate. David Warner scored 51 off 47 balls but found tough to get going in the second half. From 101/2 in the 16th over, the home side lost eight wickets for 15 runs across 3.4 overs.

A rare win for Delhi over SRH:

2 – Only the 2nd time the Delhi Capitals/Daredevils have defended a total against the Sunrisers Hyderabad. SRH defeated Delhi six out of previous seven instances while chasing a total and only lost in the 2015 season by 4 runs during a game in Vishakhapatnam.


2 – This is only the 2nd time Delhi team have won against the Sunrisers in the IPL at the RGIC Stadium in Hyderabad. SRH won three of their previous four meetings with Delhi franchise in the IPL at this venue.


SRH @ 100:

100 – This game was the 100th match for the Sunrisers Hyderabad in the IPL. They are the 8th team to feature in as many as 100 IPL matches. SRH made their IPL debut during the 2013 edition of the league.


The worst collapse ever:

15 – Runs added by the Sunrisers for losing their last eight wickets; the fewest by any team in an 8-wicket collapse in the IPL. During the inaugural season, the Rajasthan Royals collapsed from 74/2 to 103/10 against the Mumbai Indians by losing eight wickets for 29 runs.


Bhuvneshwar completes a ton:

101 – Bhuvneshwar Kumar became the first bowler to bag 100 wickets in the IPL for the Sunrisers Hyderabad. The wicket of Shreyas Iyer, Bhuvi got his 100th IPL wicket for SRH and also became the 5th bowler to pick 100 IPL wickets for a single team.

Only Lasith Malinga (157 for MI), Harbhajan Singh (127 for MI), Sunil Narine (117 for KKR) and Dwayne Bravo (100 for CSK) have achieved it before the SRH pacer.


Bhuvi goes past Mishra:

34 – Bhuvneshwar became the leading wicket-taker in the Twenty20 format at the RGIC Stadium in Hyderabad. Both Bhuvi and Amit Mishra started the game with 32 T20 wickets apiece at this venue but the SRH pacer claimed two wickets while Mishra went wicketless.
