Barring Andre Russell and a few sparks of brilliance from here and there, almost everything has gone wrong for the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in their last four matches of this edition’s Indian Premier League (IPL). Last night, Dinesh Karthik lost to cellar dwellers Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) by 10 runs and are now needed to win most of their remaining matches in order to progress further.
Their next opponent is the Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH), whom they beat at the Eden Gardens by six wickets, at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad. On the contrary, the Sunrisers ceased their three-match losing streak, winning against the table-toppers Chennai Super Kings (CSK), devoid of stalwart MS Dhoni, at home and the Orange Army would another victory under their belt at home.
The 38th game of the IPL between SRH and KKR will be hosted by the RGI Stadium in Hyderabad.
The match starts at 04:00 PM local time (10:30 GMT).
The game will be live on Star Sports in India. (Live streaming on Hotstar).
The conditions at the start would be a tad hot with the temperature at the 37-degree Celsius mark. However, it would come down significantly and is expected to end at 32 degree Celsius. Humidity during the evening time won’t be a matter of concern.
