Brimming with confidence due to their recent form, Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) will be looking to keep their slim playoffs hopes alive when they host Kings XI Punjab on Wednesday at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium. Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) are a dangerous opposition but their inconsistency shall give Royal Challengers a boost in confidence. The Kohli’s men should also take confidence from their recent resurgence.

However, they will have to get rid of the inconsistency if they are eyeing to avoid their last campaign where they failed to progress despite 4 of their first five games.

Kings XI Punjab entered this contest after a loss to Delhi Capitals and will have to be at their best to beat the Royal Challengers. What can boost their chances is familiarity with the Chinnaswamy track. The likes of Chris Gayle, KL Rahul, Mayank Agarwal, Mandeep Singh and Sarfaraz Khan have played for Bangalore in the previous seasons.

There are no concerns at all as far as weather is concerned. Contrary to the conditions in the northern part of the country where the mercury is touching 40 degree Celsius constantly, the temperature in Bangalore on Wednesday will be pleasant. According to AccuWeather, the temperature will range on the higher side of the 20s throughout the game. There is no prediction of rainfall while the cloud coverage will hover between 5-6%. The humidity will be in the range of 32-46%.
