8. Bhuvneshwar Kumar (Sunrisers Hyderabad)

Some might wonder why Bhuvneshwar Kumar is present in this list, but truth to be told, he has been well below his best. Bhuvneshwar had an opportunity to captain the side in Kane Williamson’s absence in quite a few games. He didn’t look very comfortable in that role as well, making life difficult for the Orange Army.
Bhuvi has been their standout death bowler over the years and is also a 2-time purple cap winner in 2016 and 2017. He is one of the tournament’s highest wicket-takers and this season, he barely looked that dominant. He picked up 8 wickets in 11 matches at an economy of 7.72. Although he maintained a decent economy rate, him not picking wickets is always a matter of concern for SRH.
