The right-arm fast bowler from Hyderabad who had an impressive bowling action rose through the ranks of Hyderabad domestic cricket and on the back of only two strong domestic years, he made it to the Indian national cricket team. Following his tremendous growth, Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) bought him for the 2017 edition of IPL in which he made a statement in his debut season taking 11 wickets in just 6 matches which he played.

His steep rise caught the attention of the Bangalore think tank who bought him in the next edition of IPL. Though Siraj’s performance dropped considerably this time around on a flat Bangalore pitch, he was still lethal to some extent when bowling at death with his pace variations. But he had a poor IPL last time around taking just 7 wickets in 9 matches. His economy was also high in the 2019 edition.

With the inability to take wickets on a flat Bangalore surface mixed with a high economy rate, it is still the biggest mystery that how Bangalore did retain him for the next edition of the tournament. He is surely going to be the weakest link in their fast bowling department and batsmen will surely try to unsettle him by going big against him.
