IPL 2020: 3 players you can exclude from your Dream11 team for CSK vs RR game

Chennai Super Kings and Rajasthan Royals will battle it out to qualify for the playoffs in match no. 37 of the Indian Premier League (IPL). The last time they were up against each other, it was a run-fest in Sharjah. But, CSK ended up losing by 16 runs. CSK are having a very forgettable season this time around as their batting isn’t performing the way it used to.

Their bowling too has fallen apart a wee bit. Their decision making has also been questioned. For them, all the fixtures from now are on the line and they will have to win every single match if they are to make the playoffs. The Royals started the tournament as one of the favourites. They won their first two matches but could manage only a single win from the next seven matches they played.

Their batting looks better settled with Robin Uthappa moving up the order but their bowling hasn’t lived to the hype they created before the start of the tournament. RR have to be up for the challenge for every match from now on in order to climb the ladder.

He has lost quite a bit of rhythm he had in the first two matches against CSK and KXIP. Both CSK and RR have players that can make you win big. So Sanju Samson can be overlooked for this fixture and you can go for other options for your Dream11 team.

2. Rahul Tewatia (9.5 credits)

Rahul Tewatia has been the hero for their franchise this season. He has been striking well in the latter part of the innings be it while chasing or batting first. But, with the top-order power that RR possess, Tewatia will be getting a chance only when there’s a collapse or when there are only a few overs left in the innings. The same has been the case for him with the ball as well. So, with minute opportunities on offer for Tewatia, you can give him a miss for your Dream11 team.

3. Ravindra Jadeja (9 credits)

Ravindra Jadeja has had his own share of good performances and bad performances in this season. He has more or less been brilliant, be it in the outfield or at the pitch. He hasn’t had luck on his side as most of his performances have come where the match slipped out of CSK’s grasp. RR and CSK combined will provide you with much better options for your Dream11 team. Hence, you can opt to not choose Jadeja for this fixture atleast.
