Chennai Super Kings finally got a near-perfect game with both bat and ball as they thumped Royal Challengers Bangalore by an 8-wicket margin. Despite the duo of Virat Kohli (50 off 43) and AB de Villiers (39 off 36) batting for more than ten overs, the RCB team could only finish with 145/6 in their 20 overs. Ruturaj Gaikwad anchored the chase with an unbeaten 51-ball 65 while Faf du Plessis (25 off 13) and Ambati Rayudu (39 off 27) took the risks to keep the required run rate in check on a slow track.
