Organising the IPL outside the Indian waters will not be much of a concern for the fans or the other stakeholders. However, strictly from a cricketing perspective, the different teams will certainly grapple with issues such as coming to terms with the foreseeable changes in the playing conditions.

The problem of finding the right team combination in accordance with the altered dynamics is awaiting them, and also acclimatising themselves with the torrid weather of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and much more. Over these years, we have seen enough of every franchisee to know about their strengths and weaknesses.

Quite interestingly, even though a few players retire, some new step in, and the old keep shuffling through the IPL auctions from time to time. Certain franchises have established a reputation of their own by performing with fabulous consistency whereas some have struggled.

In the article, we rate the all-rounders of all the eight teams in IPL 2020: –

1. Kings XI Punjab- 8/10

All-Rounders: Glenn Maxwell, Jimmy Neesham, Chris Jordan, Krishnappa Gowtham, Harpreet Brar, Deepak Hooda.

The addition of Glenn Maxwell is something that shall highly benefit the Kings XI this year. He has an excellent record in the UAE. He is expected to be their marquee all-rounder this season. Coming off the back of a Man of the Series victory in the England ODI series, he would be looking to go all guns blazing.

Jimmy Neesham has also been a crucial asset for New Zealand in the limited-overs formats. With his handy batting and bowling skills, he could come in as a replacement for Maxwell if the need be, or he could even make the XI as per the conditions.

Chris Jordan has been a good death bowler, although he will have to step up with the bat as well. The Indian all-rounders lack experience, but they are highly talented. If KL backs his all-rounders, we could be in for a treat.
