You must have heard this name in the last season of IPL itself. Abdul Samad is a prodigy who has the potential to achieve great heights in IPL. Hailing from Jammu & Kashmir, former Indian cricketer Irfan Khan has lauded him to bits and we got a few signs of his talent in the 2020 edition as well.

One of the toughest jobs in limited-overs cricket, especially in T20s, is finishing. Abdul Samad has already shown the calibre of hitting it effortlessly. What makes it better is that he is just 19 years old. The best part is that he doesn’t shy away from hitting the best of the bowlers.

While he didn’t feature in all the games for SRH last year, we expect him to get the backing this season because of his superlative efforts as a finisher which is the need of the hour for the orange army. He is more than capable of taking the game away from the opposition at the back end of the innings and he gave a little glimpse of it in SRH’s opening match.
