IPL 2021: Aakash Chopra picks his ideal playing XIs for RCB vs DC match
Aakash Chopra also opined that No.6 is not the right position for AB de Villiers, and the South African batting legend should come in to bat earlier.
The 56th and last match of the league stages of the 2021 edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) will be played between Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and Delhi Capitals (DC). And, former Indian opener, Aakash Chopra has picked his ideal playing XIs for both teams ahead of this blockbuster clash.
Chopra feels that both Prithvi Shaw and Shikhar Dhawan have not scored too many runs in IPL Phase 2. The 43-year-old also opined that if Marcus Stoinis is fit, then Delhi Capitals might think of getting him back in their playing XI.
Chopra also added that the bowling unit of the Rishabh Pant led side has been outstanding. The cricketer-turned-commentator feels that there is no need for the Delhi Capitals to change their playing combination.

As far as RCB is concerned, Aakash Chopra feels that Dushmantha Chameera should find a place in the playing XI for the match against the Delhi Capitals (DC) instead of George Garton. Chopra added that RCB might also think of giving a chance to Wanindu Hasaranga in the playing XI.
Chopra also opined that No.6 is not the right position for AB de Villiers, and the South African batting legend should come in to bat earlier. He reasoned that de Villiers is a champion and can turn a match around.
Both Delhi Capitals (DC) and Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) have already qualified for the playoffs stages of the IPL. While Delhi Capitals are occupying the top spot, the Virat Kohli-led Bangalore side is stationed at 3rd place.
