KL Rahul has been on a brilliant run in the IPL since arriving in the Punjab franchise. In the last three seasons, he has scored an aggregate of 670, 593, and 659 runs respectively. He enjoys batting in the top order as well. He was seen timing the ball quite perfectly during the recent ODI series against England. In addition to that, in his last three T20 innings at the Wankhede Stadium, his scores have been 94, 100, 91. 

Ben Stokes

The English all-rounder could be seen reprising his role as the opening batsman of the Rajasthan Royals in this IPL. The more time he gets to bat, the more runs he is capable of scoring. And the kind of destruction which he can cause in the top order, some of which was recently seen in the ODI series against India, is quite unparalleled to any.

In addition to that, his bowling is pretty effective and he has a genuine knack for picking wickets. Last season, he was in terrific form when he opened the innings and managed 285 runs with a strike rate of 142, including a match-winning century.
