During KKR vs MI match in Abu Dhabi on September 23, 2021, Sachin being mentor of Mumbai Indians walked after the match to shake hands with KKR players, and fans turned insane while putting ‘Sachin Sachin’ out again. The chants were so loud and clear that every player could hear it clearly and even Rohit Sharma couldn’t hear post-match questions clearly due to the same chants.
Love for Sachin Tendulkar remains the same years after his retirement
It is clear to see that the love which Tendulkar has acquired over years is immeasurable and has not even gone a step down after his retirement. It is all due to his golden records, the legacy he left, and the utmost gentleman he was on and off the field.
Talking about the KKR vs MI match, Mumbai Indians didn’t look their usual best and lost the game by seven wickets. After bearing this loss, they even slid to the sixth position in the points table. It remains to be seen if defending champions will be able to turn their fortunes in the remaining league in the UAE.
Quinton de Kock looked brilliant from MI’s end whose fifty pushed MI to post modest 155 runs on the board but KKR bowlers returned in action and nothing really worked for them after the opening partnership. On the other hand, KKR’s top order fired and Rahul Tripathi’s stunning 74 and Venkatesh Iyer’s classy 53 led KKR to victory.
However, Sunil Narine was declared as the player of the match for picking one wicket in his quota of four overs after conceding just 20 runs. After winning against MI, KKR are now placed 4th on the points table.
