The IPL 2021 is around the corner and all the franchises have finalized their squads. In the recently held auction, the teams were seen aggressively bidding for players and getting them on board with huge salaries. Ahead of the tournament, all the teams will now sit and make their preferred XIs so that when the tournament starts, they are ready to unleash their team.

Most of the teams have got a balanced first XI to start the tournament with, but in each team, there are certain players, who play not just an important role but are invaluable to the cause of the side. Every franchise has some players who are expected to play in all the matches.

Ahead of the IPL 2021 season, let us take a look at five players from each of the franchises who are surely going to be in the starting XI. These players are included, considering their form and their role in their respective franchises.

The greatest strength of Mumbai Indians over the years has been the fact that they have maintained their core players. The Delhi franchise, in the past two seasons, made great progress as a unit and have reached the playoffs in back-to-back seasons, with a final finish last season. They have taken a leaf from other successful IPL teams and created a good core of Indian players, around whom the franchise can mould their expectations.

Sunrisers Hyderabad made only three buys at the IPL 2021 auction. Ahead of the IPL 2021, their line-up looks pretty much set. Skipper David Warner has had a brilliant record as a batsman with the franchise, having scored a lot of runs in the last few seasons. His opening partner Jonny Bairstow has also had two really good seasons with the franchise.

Ahead of 2021 IPL, Royal Challengers Bangalore has a squad that is capable of winning the title. The addition of players like Glenn Maxwell has given them the hope of having the X-factor which can help them win the title. Kolkata Knight Riders is another side that keeps their core group of players intact while adding some experience to their team, in every auction. Last year, they added Eoin Morgan to the franchise and his arrival helped in relieving Dinesh Karthik from the captaincy role. The two play a huge role in forming the middle-order and making it strong.

Chennai Super Kings had their worst season of all-time in the 2020 edition of the IPL. However, this didn’t mean that they went into a total revamp. The three-time champions kept most of their core team and added just a few players in the IPL auction. MS Dhoni, who might just be playing his last season, will be back to lead the team.

Kings XI Punjab franchise has renamed themselves as Punjab Kings and have made some solid buys in the IPL 2021 auction. One of them is Jhye Richardson, who was bought for INR 14 crores. His recent form in the Big Bash League 2020-21 will make a sure-shot player in every game for Punjab.&nbsp;
Punjab’s captain KL Rahul had another impressive season with the bat last year but didn’t get the right kind of support from his team, which was required to take them to the playoffs. In the recently held auction, the teams were seen aggressively bidding for players and getting them on board with huge salaries. Ahead of the tournament, all the teams will now sit and make their preferred XIs so that when the tournament starts, they are ready to unleash their team. 
Most of the teams have got a balanced first XI to start the tournament with, but in each team, there are certain players, who play not just an important role but are invaluable to the cause of the side. Every franchise has some players who are expected to play in all the matches. 
Ahead of the IPL 2021 season, let us take a look at five players from each of the franchises who are surely going to be in the starting XI. These players are included, considering their form and their role in their respective franchises.

Rohit Sharma and Kieron Pollard have been with Mumbai Indians for as long as anyone can remember. The captain was signed in 2011 while his deputy had come to the Indians way back in 2011. 
Hardik Pandya is another crucial player for them. From scouting him, picking him at the IPL auction, and then backing his capabilities, Mumbai has done everything in the making of the all-rounder. The Delhi franchise, in the past two seasons, made great progress as a unit and have reached the playoffs in back-to-back seasons, with a final finish last season. They have taken a leaf from other successful IPL teams and created a good core of Indian players, around whom the franchise can mould their expectations.
The core includes two of Delhi’s international players, Shikhar Dhawan and Rishabh Pant. Dhawan scored two centuries in the previous season and has never been this good in the T20 format. Rishabh Pant, on the other hand, is extremely crucial to their middle and lower order as they depend on him for good finishes. Pant’s current form with the bat will surely excite the Delhi fans.

Sunrisers Hyderabad made only three buys at the IPL 2021 auction. Ahead of the IPL 2021, their line-up looks pretty much set. Skipper David Warner has had a brilliant record as a batsman with the franchise, having scored a lot of runs in the last few seasons. His opening partner Jonny Bairstow has also had two really good seasons with the franchise. 
The opening partnership of these two batters has been really destructive and given SRH perfect starts, which helps them set up the game. Followed by these two, there is Kane Williamson, the ever-dependable. After Kane is someone who plays the role of an anchor. Williamson’s T20 game has evolved in the past few years and SRH have benefitted from it largely. 
Any good T20 team needs to have quality bowlers. Ahead of 2021 IPL, Royal Challengers Bangalore has a squad that is capable of winning the title. The addition of players like Glenn Maxwell has given them the hope of having the X-factor which can help them win the title. Chahal is their main bowler, who has been consistent even when others have failed to deliver. Kolkata Knight Riders is another side that keeps their core group of players intact while adding some experience to their team, in every auction. Last year, they added Eoin Morgan to the franchise and his arrival helped in relieving Dinesh Karthik from the captaincy role. The two play a huge role in forming the middle-order and making it strong.
