3. Quinton de Kock (wk)
The wicketkeeper-batter Quinton de Kock was the consistent run-scorer for Mumbai Indians (MI) in the last few editions and helped them to secure title victory as well. He was bought by LSG for the 2022 season and returned with a knock of seven in the first league match against Titans. However, he made a strong comeback against Chennai Super Kings (CSK) to score 61 off 45 balls.
Quinton’s next few knocks saw him providing contributions of 30-40 runs. In a match against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), he scored 50 off 29 balls to set up a clinical victory for the team. However, his form in the next two league matches was the reason for the team’s loss.
In the last league game, the Protea batter was sensational with his knock of 140* off 70 balls, comprising 10 fours and 10 sixes, which helped the team to seal the playoffs spot. After the completion of the league stage, he has 502 runs in 14 matches at an average of 38.62.
