IPL 2022: List of all teams retained players, draft picks and purse remaining ahead of mega auction

The two new IPL franchises, Ahmedabad and Lucknow confirmed the 3 players that they have picked ahead of the much-awaited 2022 IPL mega auction. The Ahmedabad franchise has picked Hardik Pandya, Rashid Khan, and Shubman Gill.
And, Pandya will lead the Ahmedabad franchise. Pandya and Rashid Khan, both will be paid a sum of INR 15 Crores, while Gill will draw a salary of INR 8 Crores per season.
And, this means that the Ahmedabad franchise will have an amount of INR 52 Crores remaining in their kitty to splash around in the IPL mega auctions.
Lucknow franchise picks KL Rahul, Marcus Stoinis, and Ravi Bishnoi
On the other hand, the Lucknow franchise has opted for opening batter KL Rahul, all-rounder Marcus Stoinis as well as leg spinner Ravi Bishnoi. Also, Rahul will don the skipper’s hat for the Lucknow side and will be paid an astronomical salary of INR 17 Crores.
While Stoinis will receive an amount of INR 9.2 Crores, Bishnoi has been picked for a sum of INR 4 Crores. And, after signing these 3 players, the Lucknow franchise is left with INR 58 Crores to be spent in the mega auctions.
The 2022 IPL mega auction is an eagerly awaited event by the fans, and will be held on 12th and 13th February in the city of Bangalore ahead of the 15th edition of the IPL.
