7. Delhi Capitals – 7.5/10

Capitals featured in two games in the past week and had a 50% win ratio. In the first game against CSK, the average performance from the bowlers helped the opposition to score 200+ runs and have an advantage after the first half of the game. The best performing bowler was Khaleel Ahmed with figures of 2/28 while Anrich Nortje took three wickets by giving away 42 runs.

In the second half, it was a disappointing effort from the batters, as they could not convert their starts into big ones, As a result, they lost the game by 91 runs. In their second outing, they faced a strong team, Rajasthan Royals (RR). This time, it was a fine effort from the bowlers to contain opposition to 160. Chetan Sakariya, Mitchell Marsh, and Nortje picked two wickets each.

After an early wicket of Srikar Bharat, David Warner (52*) and Mitchell Marsh (89 off 62) were terrific with their stand of 144 runs, which sealed the game for the team, and kept their hopes alive of reaching the playoffs.
