Rishabh Pant and Jos Buttler were spotted being involved in a heated conversation on the boundary lines over the no-ball controversy during the game between Rajasthan Royals and the Delhi Capitals. The match went down write into the last over with 36 needed to win off the last six deliveries and Rowman Powell had managed to clear the first three deliveries at ease.

However, the third delivery was a high full toss with a possibility of a no-ball being called, but the on-field umpires were convinced that it was a legitimate delivery which frustrated the Delhi Capitals dugout. Pant was quite animated as he went on to argue with the fourth umpire and asked his players to come out of the ground as well. The matter got intensified as Pravin Amre went to the on-field umpires to have a chat which Pant admitted wasn’t the ideal thing to do.

After a long delay, Obed McCoy managed to keep his nerves and came back well in the last three deliveries to win the game for the Rajasthan Royals by 15 runs in the end. During the no-ball conundrum, Buttler was fielding on the boundary lines near the Delhi dugout and he was furious with what was happening. He even exchanged some words with Pant and moved back to his position in an angry manner. In fact, the argument continued even after the game, but both players had cooled down and were trying to understand the heat of the moment.
