Shikhar Dhawan is one of the late bloomers in international cricket. Despite scoring heavily in Under-19 cricket, the Delhi left-hander couldn’t really break into the Indian team. He impressed in his maiden IPL stint with the Delhi Daredevils (now Capitals) as he scored 340 runs at an average of 37.78.

However, he was moved to the Mumbai Indians (MI) in 2009. The opening batsman played there for a couple of seasons. He played 15 games across two games and scored 231 runs at an average of 15.40. His strike-rate (106.94) wasn’t the greatest either.

Thus, after the 2010 season, Dhawan was snubbed. He didn’t have a great time at MI. In fact, not a lot of people took notice either. Thus, he is one of the known players who has played for MI but not a lot of people know about it.
