IRE vs IND 2nd T20I Match Prediction – Who will win today’s match between Ireland and India?
India would be hoping to seal the T20I series against Ireland.
Ireland and India will lock horns in the second and final T20I at the Malahide Cricket Club Ground in Dublin on Tuesday, June 28. This is a must-win encounter for Ireland by all means, having suffered a seven-wicket defeat in the previous fixture. While the bowlers tried their level best to make a match of it despite defending 109, the Indian batters proved to be way too good for them.
The Men in Blue, on the other hand, would be eyeing a series win and by doing so would be eager to register their first T20I series win under stand-in skipper Hardik Pandya. The focus will be on Suryakumar Yadav’s form after he was dismissed for a golden duck in what was his comeback game. Even skipper Hardik Pandya himself would be looking forward to showcasing an improved performance with the ball.
Emerging speedster Umran Malik, who finally received his maiden India cap, did not have a good outing as he conceded 14 runs in the only over that he bowled and would definitely be eager to prove a point or two with the ball in hand.

The Dublin surface has the reputation of producing slow wickets but batting will be pretty easy on that pitch due to the shorter boundaries and a run-fest can be expected. The bowlers must maintain consistency in their lines and lengths in order to get some assistance from this wicket that largely favours the batters. Therefore, the captain winning the toss will elect to bowl first.

Probable Top Performers
Probable best batter of the match
Deepak Hooda was the star of the Indian batting as he brilliantly saw off Ireland’s new-ball bowlers and did not panic even though India lost back-to-back wickets of Ishan Kishan and Suryakumar Yadav. Hooda then steadied the ship along with skipper Hardik Pandya. More importantly, the Rohtak cricketer remained at the crease right till the very end and got the job done for the visitors, scoring an unbeaten 47 off 29 deliveries.
Probable best bowler of the match
Yuzvendra Chahal left the Irish batters guessing with his amazing bowling performance. The wrist-spinner asked some tough questions from the hosts during his spell and even though he only succeeded in taking a solitary wicket which happened to be that of wicketkeeper-batter Lorcan Tucker, his economy rate of 3.7 was really outstanding as he conceded just 11 runs from his three overs.
