Former Indian captain and RCB batter Virat Kohli opined on the lean patch he has been going through which includes three golden ducks in the ongoing IPL 2022 edition. The right-hander has managed just 216 runs in 12 games this season with one fifty and hasn’t managed to find his best form at all. However, despite Kohli’s under-par performances, RCB has found a way to win games and credit has to be given to their bowling attack as well.

In the first 14 years of his IPL career, Kohli went on to bag just three golden ducks and he has managed it thrice this year already which is way below his usual standards. He was undone by Dushmantha Chameera and Marco Jansen in back-to-back games against LSG and SRH respectively in his very first ball, and it certainly was a shocker for the fans. In the previous game against SRH, Kohli was dismissed by Jagadeesha Suchith off the first delivery of the game and he had to take a long walk back after his third golden duck of the season.

However, the good part is that Kohli saw the funnier side of bagging golden ducks and stated that he has been able to see everything in his career and not just the success.

I have seen everything in this game: Virat Kohli

Virat Kohli joked about being helpless after bagging two golden ducks in a row and noted that it hasn’t happened in his career before. He added that he has seen everything in this game now and noted how he has been staying away from criticism from outside the field.

“First-ball ducks. After the second one (duck), I actually realised what it feels like to be like you (Mr Nags character), absolutely helpless. It hasn’t happened to me ever in my career, I think. I have seen everything now. It’s been so long, I have seen everything in this game,” Kohli said during his conversation with Danish Sait for RCB Insider.

“They can’t be in my shoes. They can’t feel what I feel. They can’t live my life. They can’t live those moments. How do you cut out the noise? You either mute the TV or don’t pay attention to what people are saying. I do both those things,” he added.
