Rohan Gavaskar, a former Indian cricketer has plied his trade in 11 One-Day Internationals for the Indian national cricket team. He was a specialist middle-order batsman and an occasional slow left-arm orthodox bowler. For the unversed, Rohan Gavaskar is the son of former Indian legendary cricketer, Sunil Gavaskar.

Just like his father, Rohan followed commentating career after his retirement. He is currently on commentary duty in the ongoing Ranji Trophy final between Saurashtra and Bengal.

Rohan Gavaskar was a prominent first-class cricketer for Bengal and his average is a testament to the fact. His FC career spanned over a decade. In 117 matches for Bengal, Gavaskar scored 6938 runs at an average of 44. He also has 18 centuries and 34 fifties to his name.
