Amid the stern situation of coronavirus pandemic spreading its wrath around the globe, the world is under lockdown where people are spending their time in isolation. The life-threatening virus has put the world to a halt as more than 60,000 deaths have been registered worldwide due to its spread.

Talking about India, amid the 21-day lockdown in the country, the cofirmed cases have crossed 3000 and 77 deaths have been registered so far across the nation. In this testing times, every individual has been appealed to stay indoors and isolate in order to stay away from the virus. In the outbreak of the pandemic, health workers and policemen are trying their best to maintain the environment of the society.

Meanwhile, former India all-rounder Yuvraj Singh took it to Twitter to hail the policemen who were spotted sharing their food with those in need. Touched by their act, Yuvraj wrote that it was heartwarming to see such humanity and kindness during these tough times.

Taking to Twitter, the swashbuckling left-hander posted the video of policemen and wrote: “It’s heartwarming to see such act of humanity shown by these police men. Much respect for their act of kindness during these tough times and for sharing their own food. #StayHomeStaySafe #BeKind.”

The former India all-rounder, who played a pivotal role in India’s 2011 World Cup triumph, was recently in news for extending support to Shahid Afridi‘s Foundation. In his tweet, Yuvraj had appealed to donate to the foundation amid the pandemic.

However, the all-rounder’s tweet didn’t go well with Indian fans, who lambasted him for supporting Afridi’s foundation. The primary reason behind this was Afridi’s past remarks about India, which had enraged many Indian fans. Considering the stern relations between both the countries, fans on Twitter were furious at Yuvraj for extending support to Afridi’s foundation.
