Rohit Sharma has been one of the most active cricketers on social media during this lockdown. He has gone live on Instagram with several Indian and foreign cricketers giving the fans to cherish the moments while sitting at home. Most of the times, it was Rohit who was interviewing and on Monday, it was his turn to be on the other side of the mic with Ravi Ashwin taking over the anchoring and asking the questions.

The duo had a lot of fun during the interaction and also discussed about their favourite street food. Ashwin recalled the times when the Indian opener used to slip out of the hotel in the mid-night to have Pav Bhaaji at the Chowpatty Beach in Mumbai. Responding to it, Rohit Sharma got nostalgic stating that it is one of the best Pav Bhaaji he’s ever hard.

However, after revealing his fondness for the street food, the 33-year-old also cleared that he doesn’t eat it anymore in the mid-night with his daughter Samaira in his life now. “I’ve been out couple of times, gone to that famous place near Chowpatty. One of the best pav bhaajis you will get there. Now I’ve got a little one in the house, probably sleeping at that point so there is no chance of going and eating pav bhaajis after midnight,” he said.

Rohit Sharma has never been to the breakfast table in IPL history

Ravi Ashwin also hilariously asked the reason for Rohit Sharma for not being able to make it to the breakfast table ever in the IPL. The latter admitted the same citing that the matches finish late during the T20 league and how he is particular about his 9-10 hours of sleep. Moreover, with Samaira also there, its very tough for Rohit to sleep once she wakes up.

“It’s true that I’ve never made it to the breakfast table in IPL history, also because of other reasons as it gets very late after matches. I need my 9-10 hours of sleep, that is a must. Since Samaira was born, I used to sleep with her. I somehow managed to sleep with her and wake up with her. Because once she’s up your not going to get your sleep,” the Mumbai lad added.
