Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma’s wedding was one of the most talked about events last year. The adorable couple dated each other for a long time before getting hitched at a scenic venue in Italy in December when the Indian captain was on a break from cricket. It was like a fairytale for everyone and even the famous Bollywood Director Karan Johar also loved the ceremony.

Both of them are living happily together and the Bollywood actress more often than not is with his husband cricketer on tours. She spares time from her busy schedule and makes sure to see him bat. Currently, Anushka is in England and she was also present at Trent Bridge to visit India’s historic win over the home side and also witnessed Virat winning the Man of the Match award for his batting exploits.

Johar cried after watching Anushka

According to the Times of India, Karan Johar was no exception like others who were in awe of the celebrity couple who surprised one and all by tying the knot. Karan went on to say that even he felt like marrying after watching both of them exchanging the marriage vows. He also revealed that the tears came out of his eyes which was a surprise as the Director doesn’t believe much in such things.

“When I saw them getting hitched, even I wanted to get married as well. I became teary-eyed after watching Anushka walking down the aisle which is a big deal for me as I am quite cynical about such things,” he said.

As far as the wedding is concerned, only a few close friends and relatives were invited after which Virat and Anushka hosted a couple of big receptions in Delhi and Mumbai for their respective industry friends in the same month after which Kohli had to leave for South Africa.
