Since its inception in 2008, the Indian Premier League has established itself as one of the most renowned and popular sports tournaments across the globe. Despite the delay due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, the 13th edition of the T20 Championship commenced from September 19 in UAE across three venues namely Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Sharjah.

From edge-of-the-seat, nail-biting, Super Over finishes to boring, unspirited, no-show run chases; it has only been the middle of the tournament and the fans have already seen all kinds of action. A number of players have entertained the audience with their fearless brand of cricket and have caught the attention of the many. The Bollywood film stars are also enjoying the world’s most lucrative T20 league.

A few days back, the Bollywood actress Kareena Kapoor Khan took to her official Instagram handle to share a photograph of her son Taimur Ali Khan. In the lovely picture, Taimur can be seen flaunting his batting skills. Notably, cricket runs in the Nawab family as Kareena’s husband Saif Ali Khan’s father Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi was a legendary Indian cricketer while Saif himself and his son Ibrahim are also cricket enthusiasts.

Apart from the cute photograph, it was the caption that attracted the attention of the netizens and the cricket fans. The Bollywood diva posted the picture with the caption, “Any place in the IPL? I can play too,” the popular actress wrote.

Kareena’s post quickly caught the attention of Delhi Capitals, who immediately made an offer of including Taimur in their squad. Commenting on the popular actress’ post, Capitals wrote that they would love to have Taimur with them as a true Nawab belongs there only.

“We’d love to see him roar with us. A true Nawab always belongs to the Capital city,” DC wrote.
