Kedar Jadhav credits his better-half for his transformation

Kedar Jadhav, from the cricketing point of view,  hasn’t had an overwhelming period. He played one match for the Chennai Super Kings in the Indian Premier League but tweaked his hamstring. He came back and played the winning stroke in the humdinger versus Mumbai Indians, but was ruled out of the remainder of the tournament. Recently, he underwent a surgery and vowed to make a comeback to the Indian team.

Nevertheless, life hasn’t been as cruel from the non-cricketing front. He is married to Snehal Jadhav since 2011 after being in a relationship from 2004. It was a low-profile wedding, attended by only family and relatives. In 2015, the couple was blessed with a baby girl. Snehal was born and brought up in Mumbai and a graduated from the Mumbai University.

Recently, on their seventh marriage anniversary, Kedar went head over heels for his wife. He took to Twitter and left a special message on the auspicious occasion which read, “Happy Anniversary #snehalkj 7th Anniversary Of Marriage 7 Years of relationship before marriage 14 years of togetherness Thanku for making me a person I am today U complete my life Minu I love u so much”

Kedar made his debut for India way back in November 2014 versus Sri Lanka in an ODI. Thereafter, he has only played 40 matches in the 50-over format. He represented the national team in the T20 format in the subsequent year against Zimbabwe. He has also been an effective part-timer with 16 wickets and at times, went on to outshine the specialist bowlers with his wily off-breaks.

His last international assignment was versus South Africa during India’s tour of the Rainbow Nation earlier this year. He didn’t adequate chance to bat and didn’t get any wicket either in the three matches he played.
