Match Details:

The 12th match of the Kia Super League 2019 will be played between Surrey Stars and Loughborough Lightning at the Woodbridge Road in Guildford.

The match starts at 2:30 PM local time (7:00 PM IST) (1:30 PM GMT).

This game will be streamed live by the Surrey County Cricket Club on YouTube.

Preview:

The defending champions Surrey Stars will be on the field after nearly one week as their game against the Southern Vipers on Monday got abandoned. Their campaign began with a thrilling 9-run win on the first day of the tournament against Yorkshire Diamonds. The Stars followed it with a thumping 8-wicket win against Lancashire Thunder on the following day in Guildford which will be the host on August 15th.

They will be hosting Loughborough Lightning who have struggled for consistency. They got off to back to back defeats but secured a bonus point by defeating Yorkshire Diamonds on Thursday. Their recent most fixture against Western Storm in Bristol was a nightmare for them where they fell 40 runs short of the home team’s total. They need to put on a better batting performance for beating the Surrey Stars.

Weather Condition/Report:

Guildford is expected to witness dry conditions on Thursday. During the match timings, the weather forecast points out 0% of rain chances.

Pitch Condition/Report:

The Woodbridge Road has hosted four KSL matches and all have been low scoring ones. Surrey restricted Lancashire to 120 and chased down easily earlier this season. Once again the venue could be the host for a low scoring match.
