England woman cricketer Sarah Taylor is known for her crafty batting and amazing wicketkeeping skills. She was been the part of the national team for a long time now but has been facing some personal issues due to which she has missed a lot of cricket in the recent past. Sarah struggles with anxiety issues which has derailed her career a bit and also pulled herself out of the T20I series against Australia recently.

However, she is back on the field and is playing for the Surrey Stars and is in good form with the bat. But she is in the news for some other reason. Sarah posted her picture while taking the bails off on her Instagram handle which has left many perplexed. Moreover, she has cleared the reason for the same in the caption stating that she did it for a cause despite not being in her comfort zone.

Sarah Taylor also thanked Women’s Health UK for inviting her to be part of the cause which addresses the women’s body problems. Though she wasn’t comfortable while shooting it, Sarah is now proud of herself for taking a bold step and also has a message for the other women.

Sarah withdrew from Ashes T20Is due to mental health

Sarah Taylor has been facing problems of late and also pulled herself out of the Ashes T20Is to manage her mental health. Speaking about the same, the 30-year-old had cleared that she hasn’t taken the break due to anxiety issues and she has come a long way in that aspect.

“I first took a break from the game in 2016. But I don’t want people to feel this is exactly the same. I’ve made progress in that time and there are plenty of challenges I’ve met on the way and hurdles I’ve overcome. That said, mental health is not something you ‘beat’. It’s a continual management process and at the moment I don’t feel in a good enough place to compete in international sport,” Sarah Taylor said according to ECB’s press release.
