The Indian mainstream team is currently in England gearing up for the high-profile series against the home team. In meanwhile, BCCI posted a fun video with KL Rahul named ‘phone hack with KL Rahul’ where he was seen giving some honest replies to his day-to-day life questions. The fun video began with Rahul answering what he checks on his phone after getting up. The cricketer stated that he checks the Team Indian Whatsapp group as there is important information on it.

Secondly, he talked about his favourite selfie pose with a tongue out. When cricketer was asked about one of his favourite IG posts, he added that a picture from 2014 when he received his debut Test cap in the Boxing Day Test is really close to his heart. He also told that his favourite emoji is the ‘hug’ one.

When Rahul was asked in which Whatsapp group he is most active, the wicketkeeper-batsman told that off late he has become more of a talking and face time person and avoids texting.  Lastly, he was asked about the latest picture he has clicked on phone. To this, Rahul showed the picture of Mirabai Chanu that he clicked on TV as she bagged the silver medal at Tokyo Olympics two days back and made India extremely proud.

Talking about KL Rahul on the professional front, he is up with India’s squad that is in England. The Indian side would play a five-match Test series against the home team which commences on August 04. Rahul didn’t get the chance to showcase his skills in the finals of WTC 2021 between India and New Zealand. After Rishabh Pant tested positive for COVID-19 on July 08, it was expected that Rahul might get his chance in whites.

However, Pant is back with the squad and would be gearing up to get in the form before the opening Test. On the other hand, Rahul played a warm-up game that took place in Durham between India XI and select county XI. He smashed a classy century in the game to further strengthen his case for the upcoming high-profile clash.
