Talking about KL Rahul on the professional front, he is up with India’s squad that is in England. The Indian side would play a five-match Test series against the home team which commences on August 04. Rahul didn’t get the chance to showcase his skills in the finals of WTC 2021 between India and New Zealand. After Rishabh Pant tested positive for COVID-19 on July 08, it was expected that Rahul might get his chance in whites.

However, Pant is back with the squad and would be gearing up to get in the form before the opening Test. On the other hand, Rahul played a warm-up game that took place in Durham between India XI and select county XI. He smashed a classy century in the game to further strengthen his case for the upcoming high-profile clash.
