Karnataka batsman Mayank Agarwal recently entered wedlock with long-term girlfriend Aashita Sood on Monday. The couple has been around for quite a while and has been active in the social media as well. Earlier this year, Mayank proposed her and also posted photos frequently on the public platforms. In one of his previous posts, he wrote “Looking forward to a lifetime of this. Let’s get this party started!”
Meanwhile, KL Rahul, his Karnataka teammate also attended the grand occasion and was seen having a gala time. He also uploaded pictures of the lovebirds’ wedding, expressing his jubilation. Yesterday, he took to Twitter and congratulated the couple and also promised to maintain his healthy relation with Mayank. Here is how he captioned the pictures
“Bromance and Romance! You’re damn lucky @mayankcricket . I promise to be the third wheel always Congratulations @mayankcricket Wish you all the happiness as you begin this new journey with Aashita Sood. #AshKaroMayank”

Contrasting IPL stints
Co-incidentally, both Rahul and Mayank played for the Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) in the 2018 Indian Premier League (IPL). However, they had contrasting outings in the prestigious tournament. Rahul turned out to be a fulcrum of the team and was their leading run-scorer of the event. He gave blistering starts to the franchise on a number of times, but lacked support at times from his fellow batsmen.
The stupendous performances also meant that he was drafted into the Indian team for their tour of England, which starts next month. On the contrary, Mayank had a disappointing stint for the Preity Zinta-owned team. He came into the event on the back of some jaw-dropping knocks in the domestic circuit. His lack of consistency also meant that he was unable to stay put in his position in the lineup.
