West Indies stars Chris Gayle and Dwayne Smith are currently under the scanner for their inappropriate pass at Masseuse Leanne Russell during the World Cup of 2015 in Sydney. Russel claimed that she was crying uncontrollably after the Jamaican exposed himself in front of her.
According to reports, Russell went to the West Indian dressing room looking for a towel. There she found the power southpaw donning just a towel.
Gayle asked Leanne Russel,”What are you looking for?” the court heard, according to the Herald. “I said, ‘a towel’,” she replied, and he “pulled his towel out and down”.

“I saw the top half of Chris’ penis — I apologise. I thereafter shielded my view. I said no and walked out,” claimed the masseuse. Russel then confronted about the incident to the West Indies team regarding the incident and was notably very upset. So much so that she cried uncontrollably like a child.
In an exclusive incident, batsman Dwayne Smith admitted to a text sent to Russell that said ‘Sexy’, a day before the Gayle incident. Russell said she was “sick of being treated this way” and had spoken out to get other women to realise “this happens all the time and nobody has the guts to speak out and they should”, according to the Herald.
Gayle is suing Fairfax Media newspapers The Sydney Morning Herald, The Age and The Canberra Times over a series of stories in January last year detailing the lurid accusations.
During the Big Bash Leagues season of 2015-16, Chris Gayle was involved an infamous incident where he tried to flirt with presenter Mel McLaughlin during a Melbourne Renegade match when he inappropriately made a pass saying, ” Don’t Blush Baby’. The comments sparked quite an uproar which resulted in his non-renewal of his contract.
