The entire world has come to a standstill thanks to the proliferation of the pandemic that is the novel Coronavirus COVID-19. From International borders to flights to schools, colleges, malls, gyms, sporting events, everything has been put on the backburner as the world braces for a lockdown in a bid to counter the proliferation.

Coronavirus, like many other adversities of the past, has once proved that it is not the illiterate which forms a part of the problem, it is the irresponsible entitled individuals, who cause the most amount of havoc. And, we are seeing that in India to the hilt. People are keeping the rules at bay and posing a threat to humanity by not reporting their foreign travel history or roaming around recklessly despite being tested positive.

Harsha Bhogle slams people for being reckless

Indian commentator and analyst Harsha Bhogle took to Twitter to slam the recklessness. Bhogle said that he is disappointed by the fact that so many people are trying their best at being ‘stupid’ by roaming and partying around recklessly.

Bhogle added that such selfish acts of a few people are enough to bring down the fight against the WHO-credited pandemic.

“It is so disappointing when so many people are trying so hard and stupid, literate people coming from infected areas go around partying. A million people can do right but it requires a few silly people to lose the fight. Let us stay vigilant. We are in this together.” Harsha Bhogle tweeted.

Meanwhile, India is all set to observe ‘Janta Ka Curfew’ on Sunday after Prime Minister Narender Modi appeals to the countrymen to stay at home throughout the day. Captain Virat Kohli, like many other celebrities, took to Twitter to drive home PM’s message to all the fans.

“Be alert, attentive and aware to combat the threat posed by the Covid 19. We, as responsible citizens, need to adhere to the norms put in place for our safety as announced by our Honourable Prime Minister Shri @NarendraModi Ji. #IndiaFightsCorona” Virat tweeted.
