Australia Women will lock horns with South Africa Women in the only Test match of the South Africa Women Tour of Australia at the Western Australia Cricket Association Ground in Perth from February 15. Both these teams have been decent in the recent run in this format where they both have won just one of their last five games; however, keeping the current series in mind, Australia have dominated so far and would be expected the same in this as well.

Australia Women had squared off against India Women in their last match, where Australia won the toss and elected to bat. On a good batting surface, Australia could not capitalise as they got bowled out for just 219 while India used the conditions well with several batters smashing fifties as they posted 406 runs on the board and gained a lead of 187. Australia did bat a little better this time around but it still wasn’t enough after such a huge deficit as they gave India a target of 75 which India easily chased down and won the game by eight wickets.

South Africa Women had played against England Women in their last encounter where England won the toss and elected to field. Marizanne Kapp was the only batter who looked like she belonged on the stage as she played a useful knock of 150 and the team totaled 284. England Women were just too brilliant in return as centuries from Natalie and Alice meant they declared their innings at 417. South Africa once again struggled with the bat once again as they were stuck at 181 for five wickets and the match got drawn.
