In the final T20 match of the WBBL 2025, Hobart Hurricanes Women (HH W) are set to face Perth Scorchers Women (PS W). The Hobart Hurricanes Women have had an outstanding season, winning seven of the ten matches played in the group stage while losing twice. Their last match was abandoned, but against the Melbourne Stars Women, they performed well and won by 81 runs. Danni Wyatt-Hodge was their most successful batter, scoring 71 runs off 47 balls. Molly Strano also bowled effectively, taking five wickets.

Perth Scorchers Women, on the other side, have had a successful season, winning six of their ten league matches and qualifying for the knockout stage. Furthermore, they play admirably in the knockout rounds, earn a spot in the Challenger, defeat Sydney Sixers Women by 11 runs, and advance to the Final. In that match, Beth Mooney showcased an outstanding batting performance, scoring 76 runs in just 44 balls with a strike rate of 172, and with the ball, Alana King was the top bowler, taking 3 wickets.
